WORCESTER - Brian J. "Barney" Cronin, 55, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 14. After a lifetime of struggle, the family is content in knowing that he is finally at at peace.
He leaves his mother, Janice (Brunelle) Dillon; three brothers, Steven and his wife, Kerry Cronin of Worcester, James and his wife, Laurie Cronin of Chester, NH and Michael and his wife, Jaime Dillon of Worcester; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was the son of the late James J. Cronin. His brother, Robert Cronin; his sister, Julie Scanlon and his step-father, James Dillon predeceased him. Brian was known for his humor and loved people. He was born in Worcester, graduated from Burncoat High School and was a self employed carpenter.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside service on Friday, October 23 at 11:30AM at St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Genesis Club, 274 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01605.
