Many great memories will remain in our hearts and mind. I remember stopping by the house when Alli and I would be at Terre Haute for Special Olympics. Uncle Russell would share his stories with us. memories are meant to be cherished forever.
We want to extend our sincere sympathy to the family and know you are in our prayers and thoughts.

Uncle Russell always had HIS opinion on so many topics. Anytime he, Anna Mae and Jimmy would come to Evansville for a family reunion or a visit, he'd fill our ears with HIS thoughts. My dad, Leo, always got a kick out of his stories. It was always great to hear the four brothers and two sisters laughing at family stories. When my mom was ill, Uncle Russell mailed her copies of the many letters he sent to the editorial page of the Terre Haute paper. They always made mom chuckle. To cousin Jim and his family--Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Karen, Jim, Tyler and Ryan

I always enjoyed knowing Russell and visiting with him in person and by phone. He liked to garden and keep up on current events, and he wanted the best for his son, Jim. I will miss our contact very much. We express our sympathy to Jim and his family.

Although I have never met Russell, I have heard so many stories of the many conversations that "Lasher" had with my late Uncle, Jim Lusco. I am sure that in Heaven they will meet once again and share their stories. To all of Russell's family, we extend our Deepest Sympathy for your loss. Art & Kathie (Lusco) Burkhart

Thank you, Russell, for being such a good friend to Bob Brown for all those years. And thank you for being a friend to me. It was a privilege to know you. Now that your wish has been granted, rest in peace.
