She was born in Manchester on June 14, 1924 to Cyprien and Alphonsine (Cournoyer) Joyal. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester and had wintered in Florida for many years.
Mrs. Leclerc worked at Waumbec Dying & Finishing Company for 31 years and retired in 1980. She was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne at Sacred Heart Church, Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary and Jutras Post Auxiliary.
She was an avid bowler and bingo player.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond L. Leclerc in 1999 and by six siblings.
The family includes two children, Lionel "Sonny" Schunemann and his wife, Suzanne, of Bedford and Brenda Martin and her husband, Wayne, of Uxbridge, MA; three step children, Richard Leclerc of Manchester, Theresa Rivard of Sarasota, FL and Denise Schryba and her husband, Stanley, of Goffstown; two grandchildren, Dawn Wunderli and Robyn Gillis; five great grandchildren, Shane and Drew Wunderli and Patrick, Jack and Shay Gillis; two sisters, Sr. Irene Joyal, PM of Gardner, MA and Rita Anctil of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church, 265 So. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
