Myra McLeod Obituary

McLeod, Myra Lynn 69, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on March 20, 2016. A private family graveside will be held per Myra's request. Myra was born March 16, 1947 in Marysville, KS. She graduated from Marysville High School and Kansas State University where she received her degree in nursing. Myra had a passion for painting and everything cultural. She was a loving and compassionate lady who cared for so many and gave so much. She will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff of Fountainview Nursing Center for their exceptional and compassionate care. Myra was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Elizabeth McLeod and sisters and brother-in-law, Leah McLeod and Myrna and Richard Long. She is survived by her sister, Mary Green of Azle, TX, nieces, Mary Shannon of Wichita and Betsy (Matt) Long-O'Brien of Denver, CO; nephews, Craig (Brenda) Green of Aurora, TX and Nicholas (Delana) Long of Wichita; a host of great nieces and nephews; and best friend, Judy Nash of Wichita.
