Ruth Van Geffen Booth passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009, at the age of 95. Wife of the late Dr. Perry J. Booth Jr. Mother of Dr. Perrry J. Booth III(Dale) and Dr. Dennis J. Booth (Donna). Grandmother of Perry J. Booth IV(Zara), Michael A. Booth(Kim), Jonathan P. Booth(Katie), Dr. Dennis J. Booth Jr.(Cheryl), Brittany Booth Fitzmorris and the late Joey Booth. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Joseph Van Geffen and Barbara Fink Van Geffen. Sister of the late Emmett, Joseph, Merlin and Lloyd Van Geffen, Ursula Weaver Garitty, Velma Laporte, Lois McCoy, Cecilia Van Geffen and Rosemary Clomburg. A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 12:00 PM. Interment in St. Roch Cemetery. A private visitation will begin after 10:00 AM. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dale Drolla for the loving care given during the latter part of Ruthâ€™s life.
