Robert A. Conkling

Robert A. Conkling, 57, lost his courageous battle with multiple myeloma on August 21. Bob was a proud graduate of the University of Louisville and a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He spent 35 years in the food services business and was past president of AMAF. Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rebecca (Becky) Conkling, brothers J. Patrick Conkling (Betty) and Louis M. Conkling (Jenifer), as well as nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph E. and Virginia P. Conkling and nephew, Sean. Visitation at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd. from 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. on Monday, August 24, with the Mass of Christian Burial at Espiritu Santo at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 25.
