Mr. Aaron Neal Gardner, age 67, of Locust Grove, GA passed away February 17, 2010. Mr. Gardner was born in College Park, GA the son of the late Mary Wilda Russell and Bunt Gardner. He served his country in the US Air Force for four years and was employed with Chrysler Corporation for 34 plus years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed being with his family, volunteering in community service work, hunting, fishing, gardening, telling jokes, and flying airplanes. He was given the nick name of “Snake� in his younger years and most of his friends knew him just as Snake. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tate Kaiser. Survivors are his wife, Beverly Gardner of Locust Grove; daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Michael Garrett of Warrenton, MO and Julie and John Kaiser of Hernando, MS; grandchildren, Megan Garrett, Dustin Garrett, Wesley Garrett and Jackson Kaiser; brother, D. R. Gardner and wife Margo of Fayetteville, GA; best friend, Jerry Chastain of McDonough; a niece and nephew. A memorial service for Mr. Gardner will be Saturday, February 20, 2010 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Alvie Rodgers officiating.
