Donald Larson Sr. AURORA, Wis. - Donald B. Larson Sr., of Aurora, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at his home. He was born on Feb. 15, 1948, the son of the late Howard and Ellen (Cantwell) Larson. Donald graduated from Florence High School in 1967. He received a degree in gunsmithing from Trinidad Junior State College in Trinidad, Colo. Don worked as a gunsmith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending gun shows, and watching football, especially the Denver Broncos. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by four children, Hester (John) Cowling of Norway, Donald Jr. of Aurora, Heather Clifford of Niagara, Wis., and Robert of Escanaba; two brothers, Richard of Aurora and Robert of Appleton, Wis.; two sisters, Laurie of Crystal Falls and Carol of Aurora; five grandchildren, Johnny and Jeremiah Cowling, Megan Larson, and Victoria and Ashley Clifford; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald and one son-in-law, Brian Clifford. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Kingsford Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Mark Markham will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. Condolences can be expressed to the family of Donald Larson Sr. online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com. The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Kingsford with arrangements.
