Eagle Grove: Ted "Junior" Molitor Theodore John Molitor, Jr., the son of Theodore and Christina (Johnson) Molitor, Sr. was born January 2, 1951, in Sibley, Iowa. He was raised and educated in northwest Iowa. On August 18, 1979, Ted was united in marriage with Sheri McMartin in Worthington, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove. Ted worked as a millwright for Young Love and Lambert-Hamlin Inc. and repaired grain elevators as the owner of Midwest Elevator, Inc. for the last 17 years. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and the Cruising Eagles Car Club. Junior enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved the Eagle Grove Eagles, Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Bears and time spent with car club members. Ted passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at his home in Eagle Grove at the age of 59 years. He was preceded in death by Ted Molitor, Sr. and his brothers-in-law, Bob Bruns and Leon Walters. Survivors include his wife Sheri of Eagle Grove; three children: Nicholas Molitor of Eagle Grove, Natalie Molitor of Colorado Springs, CO and Neil Molitor of Goldfield; granddaughter Delaney Asche-Molitor of Eagle Grove; mother Christina Freese of Ashton; brothers, Monte Molitor of Sibley and David Molitor and wife Beth of Sibley; sisters, LeAnn Gerken and husband Roger of Little Rock, Pat Niichel and husband Danny of Granville and Carla Goergen and husband Dan of Granville; mother-in-law, Jan Smrcka and husband Bill of Worthington, MN; father-in-law Robert McMartin of Friendswood, TX; sister-in-law Deb Hall and husband Dan of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers-in-law, Rod McMartin and wife Valerie of Payson, AZ and Terry McMartin of Santa Fe, TX and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove with Rev. John Fuchs officiating Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
