Ernest "Ernie" Haire III

Haire III, Ernest “Ernie� Bryant, 56, of Tampa, passed away August 6, 2011. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend and will be dearly missed. Ernie was a 1973 graduate of Chamberlain High School, and he went on to become President of the Ernie Haire Ford Dealership, taking over his family business. He was an avid golfer, and a much loved member of Avila Country Club. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and charm. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Bryant Haire, Jr., and his brother, David Franklin Haire. He is survived by his beloved family; mother, Mary Haire, sister, Maria Haire, son, Benjamin Haire ,daughter, Victoria Locklear, nieces, Catherine Jager, Crystal Wright, Melissa Ovitt, and nephews, David Haire, Jr., Bryant Haire, and aunts, Doris (Jack) Johnson, and Helen Feser. Ernie’s family will receive friends Friday, August 12 from 5-8pm, at Blount Curry Funeral Homes Carrollwood Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 10am at Van Dyke United Methodist Church, with interment to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ernie’s name to the charity of your choice.
