Dana Weaver Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 26, 2010.
Dana Bass Weaver, 52, surrounded by her loving family, left this earth and went to her heavenly home Monday, July 26, 2010. Dana was born in Wayne County Dec. 1, 1957, to Billy Gene Bass and Jaunita Forehand Bass of Goldsboro. She attended Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Dana was a caring, loving parent and grandparent whose primary goal was the happiness and security of her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor Don Sauls officiating. The interment will be Friday, July 30, at 11 a.m. at Pikeville Cemetery. More than anything else, Dana had been devoted to her husband, Chris Weaver, and her children, Alex Weaver and Summer Weaver, as well as her beloved granddaughter, Ali Jade Weaver. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Bill Bass Jr. and his wife, Dara, and their children, Joshua Bass and Spencer Bass of Kinston. Dana was loved by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church at 336 Nahunta Road, Pikeville, N.C., 27863. The family will receive friends Thursday after the service, and at other times at the home of her parents at 787 Buck Swamp Road, Goldsboro.
