Shawn Matthew McKee

Shawn Matthew McKee, 31, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Post Falls, Idaho. Shawn was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandson. He lived his life always trying to learn and increase his knowledge about different topics. His family was the joy of his life. Shawn lived his life always trying to help others in any way he could. He had a loving and caring heart. In his death he gave the precious gift of life to other people. He enjoyed working with the Lions Club International 24-F Sight and Hearing Unit along with several of the Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinics locally. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Edward McKee; grandparents, Thomas G. McKee and Stewart McKee, Delmer Walker; step-grandfather, Don Tilson. Survivors include his loving wife, Jessica Martin McKee of Post Falls, Idaho; two children, Sahannah M. Durbin and Thomas Edward "Tommy" McKee; mother, Karen Walker McKee Bagheri and Dariush Bagheri of Bristol, Va; grandmother, Marie Walker; step-mother, Donna Tilson McKee; siblings, Jennifer McKee Jolliffe, Sarah Beth McKee, and Braxton McKee all of Chilhowie; mother-in-law, Cathy Banderob of Post Falls, ID.; sister-in-law, Lori Martin and husband Chris Rebich of Post Falls, ID.; brother-in-law, Julio Martin of Post Falls, ID.; step-grandmother, Betty Tilson of Marion; step-brother, Ali Bagheri and wife Buffy of Johnson City, TN; step-sisters, Leila Bagheri and Maryam Bagheri; nieces and nephews, Kayden Jolliffe of Chilhowie, Kelin Goodson and Drake Rebich of Post Falls, ID., Mahon Mahmodian, Keemia Mahmodian, Ava Bagheri,. Funeral services will be conducted 7 PM Wednesday, July 3 at the Chilhowie United Methodist Church with Rev. Sarah Slack and Rev. Mary Kay Briggs officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 10 AM Thursday, July 4 in the Grosses Creek Cemetery in Chilhowie. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday July 3 prior to the funeral service at the church. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Berry, Mike Hayes, Jess Royal, Mike Walker, Earnest Huffman, and Dr. Forrest Swan Jr..
