Anne Troxclair Purdy

Anne Troxclair Purdy, 89, born October 5, 1924, passed away at her home in Bogalusa on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Originally from New Orleans, LA, she has resided in Bogalusa since 1994. She is survived by three children, Jeri (Gene) Gunulfsen of Bogalusa, Robert (Renee) Purdy of Watertown, CT and Patricia Purdy of Violet, LA. She is survived by one brother, Wilbur (Lynn) Troxclair of Hammond, LA. Those also mourning her loss are her grandchildren Amy, Bryan, Kimberly and Melissa Stewart; Wayne Whitson, and Travis, Ian, Madeline, and Luke Purdy. She has nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur D. Purdy; her parents Anne Evalina Waguespack and Felix Francois Troxclair and nine brothers and sisters, Felix Troxclair, Russell Troxclair, Herman Troxclair, Gerald Troxclair, Francis Troxclair, Calvin Troxclair, Gwendolyn Troxclair, Elise Mouton, and Felicia Holt.
