Elizabeth "Betty" Sestili

Elizabeth J. "Betty" Sestili, 66, died Friday, February 14, 2014 at Summa Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls. She was born September 2, 1947 in Lakewood to David S. and Marjorie (Turnbull) Preston. Elizabeth worked and retired from the Human Resource Department at Kent State University. She liked to play bridge, do crafts with her grandchildren, and cook all sorts of delicious goodies. She is survived by her husband, Walter Sestili, whom she married on December 17, 1966; daughter, Wendy (Timothy) Chasar of Medina; grandchildren, Antonia, Brandon, and Celeste. The family would like to thank all that were involved in her excellent care at The Elms and Summa Western Reserve – Palliative Care and Hospice teams. Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 18th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 19th at Christ Episcopal Church with Rev. Julie Blake Fisher officiating. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
