Warren Gerade Obituary
Born in Wakefield on October 17, 1925 he was the son of the late Warren C. and Pearl (Gibson) Gerade.
Mr. Gerade was raised in Melrose and Malden and had attended Malden Public Schools. During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired foreman for the former Wakefield Bearing Company where he had worked for 45 years.
Mr. Gerade was the husband of the late Alice M. DelRossi. He was the father of Susan Gerade and Donna Gilroy both of Wakefield, Warren Gerade III of Danville, NH and Jeff Gerade of Hillsboro, NH. He was the brother of Paul Gerade of Wilmington and the late Marge Bernard and William Gerade. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at noon. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.

I am sorry for your loss. I know that it is hard to loss a loved one. I met your Dad only 4 or 5 times but , the few times that I got to spend with him
you could not ask for a nicer person. I no that it is not easy to lose some you love with all your heart but, in time some of the pain will go away. So please take it one day at a time. my best wishes.
