Susan Krajewski

Susan Krajewski 92 passed away peacefully Monday October 12, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Schenectady, Barbara Henderson. Susan known to all as "Sue" was the proprietor of the Blythwood Tavern on N. Jay Street since 1946. The Blythwood was Susan's home until recently. While there, everyone was welcome. Susan was known for the best macaroni and potato salads. Her kitchen never closed. No one ever went hungry whatever the hour was. Sue developed so many friendships that exist today and continue with the rest of her family. "Grandma Sue" was predeceased by her loving grandson, her best friend and side kick Joseph "Joey" Henderson, this past February. They are now together again. Susan is survived by her daughter, caregiver and strength Barbara Henderson, her loving grandchildren, John Henderson (Beverly), Melissa Pedone (Richard) Miss Kim Henderson and Rosemary Panetta. Susan also leaves her great grandson and the apple of her eye Dominick Fretto. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon October 14, 2009 at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 to 2 pm prior to the services. Interment in Vale Cemetery, Schenectady. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to her caregivers, Gino, Therese and the VNA staff for their care, support and love for Sue.
