Gerald "Gerry" Ouellette, 66, of Manchester, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Gerry was born in Manchester, NH on November 3, 1947, to Oliver and Bertha (Janelle) Ouellette. He attended Belmont Abbey College in NC for one year before returning home to take care for his ailing parents. He served in the Air Force Reserves and held a Computer Science Certification from Keene State College. During his life, Gerry held positions as a computer science instructor at Hesser College and in Computer Management at Hitchner Manufacturing Co. in Milford. He was also a Ballroom Dance Instructor for more than 30 years. He was a Cantor and faithful Parishioner at Our Lady of the Cedars in Manchester. Gerry and his family moved to Bedford in September of1991 and Gerry returned to Manchester recently. Described by his loved ones as a "family man," Gerry took great joy in time spent with his children. He also enjoyed Ballroom Dance, computer technologies, working in his yard, and bowling. Gerry is survived by his Aunt Lucy Corriveau, and his sons, Maurice Ouellette and wife Jen (Charest) and Michael and wife Cora (Doe) Ouellette; daughters, Monique (Ouellette) Johnson, Grace Ouellette, and Amanda Ouellette; grandchildren Damien, Gabby, Devin, and Aiden; his brother Bertrand Ouellette and his wife Camille of Andover, MA, and sister, Irene (Ouellette) Yull and husband Jeff of North Reading, MA. He was predeceased by his grandson, Brendan. The family will receive visitors Monday, April 14th 4-8pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 15th at 10am at Our Lady of the Cedars Church, 140 Mitchell St. Manchester, NH. Burial will follow immediately at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerry's memory may be made to Our Lady of the Cedars, 140 Mitchell Street, Manchester, NH 03103.

Dear Michael and Monique, We are so sorry to hear your father has passed away. I remember him coaching our sons John and James Dixon in the Manchester Youth 10 Pin bowling league. Our sons became such good bowlers because of the patience your dad when he was coaching them. Your dad will always be remembered for his wonderful smile and kindness he shared with our sons. We will keep you and the rest of your family in our prayers. God Bless you all.
