Chasteen ( Peck) Harp Born: October 18th 1932 in Edmonson County Kentucky. He passed away on April 22, 2014 at his home in Brooks, Kentucky. He was the Son Of the late Flossie Duvall and Arnold Harp. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Betty Hicks Harp, and One Grand Son Micah House both of Brooks Kentucky. Two sisters Millie Robinson of Rantoul Illinois, and Norma Cassida of Linden Indiana, two brothers Chuck Harp of Lake villa Illinois, Norman McCart of Plainfield Indiana. He was very proud of his Navy service. He served in the Korean War. He belongs to the AM VETS and VFW. He was honored to be a member of Masonic Lodge # 910 In Cub Run, Kentucky He was retired from Ford Motor Company. Peck was an avid boater, fisherman, and Hunter. He was a man of nature. He loved the outdoors. Chasteen Peck Harp is preceded in death by his parents Arnold Harp and Flossie Duvall. His Daughter Lesa Loraine Harp. Two Brothers Lloyd and Lee Cook. One Sister Lucy Mayfield. Funeral service will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Hill Grove Cemetery (Edmonson County). Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9am Saturday at Schoppenhorst.
