Mr. Fred Couch

Fred Couch, 71, joined his heavenly father on April 22, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends. Fred was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He owned and operated F. C. Upholstery and was renowned for his excellent craftsmanship and friendly service. He retired from a career at General Electric. He was a member of the Evangel Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dillard and Mary Couch; his brothers, Bill, Virgil, Ned, and Logan Couch, and his sisters, Dorothy Conover and Martha Gregory. He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Diane; his daughter, Tawana Edwards (Mike) and his son, Frederick (Nina); his grandchildren, Brandon Edwards (Sarah) and Hunter Edwards, Bianca, Juliana and Freddy Couch. He is also survived by his brother Joe Couch and sisters, Shirley Bingham, Nelly Gregory, Goldie Schriml, and Gene Harris and many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Mindy. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Crosswaters Gardens Cemetery.
