Ann L. Diltz

Ann L. Diltz, 86, of Kent, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015. She was born June 14, 1928 in Kent to the late Leonard and Mary Amodio. She was retired from Huntington Bank where she worked for 26 years. She loved to play bridge. She was known for her delicious cheesecakes. She was a member of Kent Coterie I and the Elm Garden Club. She enjoyed travelling in a motorhome throughout the country with her husband and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Garth M. Diltz Jr.; and sister, Florence Sawyer. She is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Ed) Sitko, Denise (Frank) DeMarco Dantimo, and Susan (John) Lacy; son, Garth M. Diltz III; her grandchildren, Michelle McDowell, Jessica Sanborn, Regan Lacy Woodward, and Patrick Dantimo; and her great grandchildren, C.J., Trevor, Braden, Lana, Tori, Taylor, Mathew, and Alison. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Amodio. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 4th at 9:30AM at St. Patrick Church in Kent until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Patrick Church, 313 N. DePeyster Street, Kent, OH 44240.
