Cynthia Daigle Cole, a native of Franklin, longtime resident of Centerville and current resident of New Iberia, passed away after a long and courageous battle of a rare form of colon cancer at the age of 61 on Friday, May 8, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Cindy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be truly missed by all. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Terry, for 41 years. She worked in the medical field for over 30 years and was the lab manager at the Franklin Foundation Hospital retiring in 2013. Survivors include her husband, Terry Joseph Cole; her daughter, Gina Cole and her fiancé, Michael Bovender; one grandson, Aiden Bovender, whom she adored with all of her heart; four brothers, Wesley Daigle, Jerome Daigle, Michael Daigle and Clay Daigle; three sisters, Doris D. Cooper, Carolyn D. Verrett and Becki D. Comeaux and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Daigle and Stella Carline Daigle; one sister, Loretta D. Derouen; two brothers, Larry Daigle and Dwight Daigle, as well as her mother-in-law, Shirley Kidder Cole. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date honoring Cindy's life.
