Shirley J. Rypma

Shirley J. Rypma, age 91, of Holland, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Lakeside Vistas and Villas in Holland. Shirley was preceded in death in March, by her husband of 71 years, Glen. She was a member of Montello Park Christian Reformed Church and more recently a member of Graafschap Christian Reformed Church. She volunteered at Bible's for Mexico for many years. Shirley is survived by her children; Randall and Sharon Rypma of Holland, Rick and Pauline Rypma of Holland; 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren; In-Laws, Mrs. Ernest (Dorothy) Zoerhof of Holland, Mrs. Gary (Leona) Plasman of Holland; Many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland, with Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visiting hours are scheduled for 3-5pm on Sunday, June 7, also at the funeral home.
