Earle W. Grant, of Wallingford, PA, passed away March 12, 2015.

Born Nov. 30th 1943, he was the son of the late Earl S. Grant and Marie Dowrick Grant, and brother to the late Lois Robertson.

Earle attended Nativity BVM elementary school, Saint James High School, and graduated from Nether Providence High School. He then served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he was trained on flight simulators for C130 aircraft, starting a lifelong interest in aviation and aerospace.

After his military service, Earle worked 25 years for Harowe Servo Controls in West Chester, then for Mustang Expediting in Aston driving tractor trailers for over 18 years.

Earle was very proud of his service to his community, and of helping others. Following in his father's footsteps, he was an active volunteer member of the South Media Fire Company in Nether Providence for 55 + years, until a month before his passing. He held many positions in the fire company through-out the years; 2nd assist. chief, chief engineer, financial secretary, member of the board of directors then chairmen of the board of directors, firemen of the year, and held the status of top 10 in calls for the year numerous times.

Earle was most proud of his children. He is survived by Jennifer Proetto (Dennis), Eric Grant, Scott Grant, and Wendi Phillippi; his loving sister Jeanne Miller (Stanton); nieces Tracy Maier, Suzanne Bobey, Amy DiBonaventura, and nephew Keith Robertson. Wife Tammie Grant.
