Ronald Eugene Ray

Ronald Eugene Ray, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015. He was born on September 20, 1948 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Clifford E. and Gertrude M. (Blair) Ray. Ron was a 1966 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Ron worked as an Electric Motor Repairman for Scherer Electric which became Horner Electric, until 2009, a total of 43 years. He enjoyed riding his Yamaha Motorcycles, and was President of the Indy AdVentures Motorcycle Club from 1987-1988. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 0510 and enjoyed open wheel racing. Ron and his wife, Beverly K. (Mitchell) Ray, also enjoyed camping and traveling together in their RV; they were married 46 years. Ron and Beverly would like to thank all of the "Angels" at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital for their tender care.
