Richard Guy Ryan age 77 of Maryville passed away at home on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Willie Mae Ryan and his grandson, Brandon Wallace Ryan. Guy was a member of Friendsville Baptist Church and was retired from Alcoa Aluminum. Guy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather – his family always came first. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Carolyn; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jeanine Ryan of Philadelphia; daughter and son-in-law, Alisa and Mark Grubb of Gallatin; grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Whitney, Will, Justin, and Morgan; sisters, Betty Queener of Greenback, Joy and Richard Meschendorf of Maryville. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery, 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803, for graveside service and interment with Rev. Scott Kidd and Dr. Mark Grubb officiating.
