William Jordan Campbell

William Jordan Campbell 82 of Charleston passed away April 26, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House West. He was always in management and was the former manager of White Tire Company, Charleston and member of Charleston Mountain Mission. Mr. Campbell was a US Navy Veteran having served aboard The Missouri; also served in the WV Army Reserves; and enjoyed conversation especially with his neighbors and he loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include his loving wife, Phlorine Campbell; son, Mike Canterbury and wife Diana of Scott Depot; daughters, Brenda Brunell of Hampton, VA, Cynthia Campbell of Washington, DC and Jackie Hill and husband Dennie of Forest Hills, KY; grandchildren, Melissa Curry and husband Jeff of South Charleston, Michael Canterbury and wife Shellie of Kermit and Ariel Showalter of Scott Depot; great grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, Noah and Trey. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday May 3, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Price officiating. Entombment with military graveside rites provided by American Legion Post 187, Winfield will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the Charleston Mountain Mission Building Fund, 1620 Seventh Avenue Charleston, WV 25387.
