Mr. Mark William Walsh

Mark William Walsh, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center at age 40. He was a lifelong resident of Newtown and a 1994 graduate of Council Rock High School North, where he played varsity volleyball. Mark graduated from Monmouth University with a BA in Communications. He worked in the music and sports entertainment businesses in customer service and sales. Mark's greatest love was music. He played guitar and drums, and was a member of the band "The Mark," performing for many years in several local venues. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, surfing and biking. Mark is survived by his mother Carol, his brother TJ, TJ's wife Alison, and his beloved nephews Owen and Garrett Walsh. Mark is preceded in death by his father Thomas J. Walsh, Jr., and his brother Matthew. He will be fondly remembered as an extraordinary and special person by his loving family and many dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Mark's Memorial Life Celebration on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA.
