James Joseph Donnelly

Donnelly James Joseph, on February 7, 2017, age 83. Beloved father of James P. ( Julia ) Donnelly, Doreen ( Michael ) Bagnarelli, and the late Kevin M. Donnelly, Loving grandpop of Katie, Brynn, Allison, Matthew, Jayson and Kerri. Brother of Dolores Byrne Gioia, devoted uncle and friend to many. Jim was a graduate of North Catholic High in Philadelphia, a veteran of the army, an expert in the area of loss prevention, a proud member of the AOH, Knights of Columbus and a lifelong Phillies fan. He recently won the 2016 Man of the Year Award from the AOH and became the oldest political intern Pennsylvania history. Jim cherished the moments he was around others and always loved to laugh. He will be missed in body, but his spirit and heart lives on in his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to James' Life Celebration Sunday Evening from 6PM to 8PM at John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home, 10975 Academy Road Philadelphia PA 19154. And again Monday Morning 9AM at St. Martha's Church 11301 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154 Funeral Mass to begin 10 am.
