Mary Flynn

Mary J. Flynn (née O'Connor), 83, passed away peacefully Monday, February 13, 2017 at her home in Brighton Gardens of Westlake with her children at her side. Beloved wife of the late Eugene F. Flynn, Jr.; cherished mother of Joseph (Catherine), Mark (Silvia), Michael (Debbie), Rosemary Pritchard (Tom), Carol Scheible, and Margaret Morrison. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Dear sister of Carol Hoelscher (the late John). Preceded in death by her siblings, Charles O'Connor, Eileen Myers, and Sheila Rebstock. Mary was known to all as a gentle soul. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom and was a Girl Scout Leader. Mary enjoyed reading, spending time in nature, watching birds, listening to music, and watching sports on TV, especially the Cleveland Indians. She was intelligent, quietly witty, and playful. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio, with internment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
