I wasn't finished! I learned some drum techniques from Sib. He was closer to my brother, Barry, than myself, and, professionally, with bandmates, Louie Scaltreto, and Jeff Bianco. I am, "lousy", that you've left.....

So sorry for your loss. I was the monitor sound man for the first two Boston tours so I was on stage with Sib every night. He was a great guy, no pretense, just a solid man. March 28, 2017
My name is Will Anderson. I am Laurence Andersons brother. Laurence was visiting with myself and my family in North Carolina this past week and told me the tragic news of Sib's passing. I met Sib once in LA many years ago when Laurence and Thressa had a cookout. My initial thought was of course, holy crap...... the drummer from Boston. I love Boston. Then during the cookout I had the opportunity to learn what a funny, kind and really what a neat man Sib was. My awe went from spending time with a man the world new was awesome from one perspective to hanging around with a really nice guy. I spent time at that cookout with Sib. Not Boston Sib, just Sib the guy. And he was really cool. I'm so sorry for your lose. He left rockin. A way we all hope we can leave.

So sorry for your loss. I never met Sib. But I did meet Brad and his friend with the long brown hair, the bass player. when I was a boy of 11. I was once that boy Brad saved from running off that cliff after my friend died from leukemia, and I spent a year being bullied because of how I looked. And Brad gave the dog for me and broke his hand protecting that same day. Now they are both together in heaven looking down on us. And remembering all the good they did for so many. That is really all that matters in life.

I am so sorry for your loss of this wonderful man. I will remember him, of course, for his music but I will remember him more for his humanity. He would organize and lead the St. Maria Goretti Church volunteers in preparing meals and feeding hundreds of needy people at My Brother's Table in Lynn. His humor, humility and desire to give back to others was inspiring and always made for a fun experience for everyone. He spent time to develop relationships with those in tough spots. A very good man.
