Dear Tim,
It will be 7 yrs since we shared our last 'see ya later,'....it is unbelievable we have been on our journey with you for all this time. The weather is exactly the way it was that day, it feels like you fill the atmosphere, the air, the sun's warmth, we can feel you.
So we'll do our best, to do what we've done in the past...planting flowers at ICC 6th hole, at your plaque ..' Another day in Paradise '.
Ok ..we 'll talk later
Love
Dad

Tim, it's 10/27/2019, your 23rd birthday, we think of you each day/hour/minutes, especially today. I still continue to make up a car/motorcycle model with your birthday (10/27/..) on it. You know you will always be with each of us (mom, Katherine, me, family, friends, so many). We'll see how the day goes, 23 years ago, it was the happiest day for me and Mom, next to Katherine's birthday. Tim, I'm sure we will talk throughout today, it all comes down to our love for you, now and forever.
All my love

Tim, my brother: I love and miss you everyday more than anyone knows. You were, are and forever will be my best-est friend --- and I hope wherever you are you are exploring with that infectious smile on your face. Missing you more and more each day, did not ever know this kind of hurt existed, and it seems this eternal pain just keeps going, just like me. Each and every day until I see you again know I am trying to live, laugh, smile and dream for and with you. I hope you are proud of me and what I am doing -- but I guess I won't figure out the answer to that for a while... thanks big bro, you really were and still are my ultimate person , here or not you will forever be. - love your only/favorite sibling and best friend (KAT)

Timmy, how sad even to start to think about you. We love you and your memory will always be in our hearts.

I couldn't believe all the loving people in your receiving line at your wake. Bessa and I were so proud as were your Barker grandparents and us were asked by your Mom and Dad to share in greeting your mourners. For hours they came filled with such loving and thoughtful things to say in your honor and memory. On and on they all came with many, many tears and to speak of times shared with a beautiful you. College girls and boys with so much love to share with you. And then parents of college friends telling of your visits and brightness in their homes. Unbelievable! Hundreds of people thinking of you. Next your high school sports coaches, football, etc. And then your parents' many neighborhood and work friends. And an english teacher too! What a tribute.

Your dearest relatives en masse supported you, Katherine, your Mom, and Dad. Cousins, Uncles, Aunts, Barkers, Glendinnings, Christiansens, Sorensens, etc. were all proud of you and there for you. You were so loved by all.

Now we all travel on our further journeys while we are comforted that you are at rest in God's hands and His kingdom. We are all dedicated to you and receive strength from your life. We will support your family as the future unfolds. May your infectious smile never wane. Most of all we move on together with your beautiful memory in our hearts.

God bless the multitudes at Timothy's funeral.

Dear Brother Tim, Barbara, and Katherine,
My friend Paul Woodman the other day said that no matter what people may say, no one can imagine or understand the feeling of losing a son. Paul lost his son at age 26 many years ago and still lives with grief today. I saw it in his eyes when we talked about our young Timmy. There is a native American Indian saying that the pain of a departed loved one is their spirit reminding you of their love and allows you to be close once again. I pray for the future of you, Barbara and Katherine to find yet the beauty and value in a life worth living. My last thought is the first and last lines of the "Pilot's Prayer" which reads, "Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth .... and touched the face of God. I know Timmy is in that promised place. There are good times to come. Be well and stay strong my Brother, Barbara, and Katherine. Love Bill.

Dear Uncle Timmy, Aunt Barbara and Katherine,
The news of Tim's passing broke my heart. How unfair that the life of such a beautiful and vibrant person was cut short. I wish he has more time here, with you all and to do everything he wanted to do.
I can't imagine the pain that you feel and I don't really have the words other than I am so sorry and so sad and I send so much love your way.

My dear nephew Timothy, Your spirit lives with all of us, your friends, your family. I realized this while witnessing the many people that came to pay respects to you and mourn your passing and i am sure that was just a fraction of the many more. You touched each and everyone of the many souls with yours in a positive way with your love. Your Uncle Tor is so very proud of you, the person you were the man you had become. I love you, i will miss you forever.
My dear brother Tim, my dear sister-in-law Barbara and my dear niece Katherine. You are beautiful and i am so immensely proud to be your brother, your uncle. You are the reason Timothy was the beautiful person he was. Please know that I walk with you, your family walks with you and your friends on your journey forward. We share those steps together. I love you. I would like to share a song with you and whomever reads this message. "Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon

Dearest Tim
We just arrived back after your beautiful but extremly sad funeral . You had all your friends show up and shed tears for you , it was a beautiful outpouring of true love and affection . You obviously touched so many lives with your outgoing personality and kindness . I still have fresh in my memory when you came with your father to Haakons confirmation and you and my boys had so much fun together , especially riding the dirt bike like a true kid with no worries at all . Just like boys should be , nothing but smiles and no concerns .
Your short time with us will be dearly missed . You are a beautiful man and will always be in our hearts , as i am sure you are now looking down on your parents and sister telling them , it will all be okay .
As much as it hurts us that your presence in no longer with us , you can rest assure you will always be missed and never forgotten.
We love you and miss you and promise to keep a close eye on your family for you .
I trust you are in a safe place in Gods arms , as you smile down on us all .
My deepest condolences and rest in peace Tim .

Lots of Love from your Uncle Herlof

Dear Tim, Barbara & Katherine,

Our hearts are breaking for you and your entire family. We are terribly sorry for the loss of your beautiful son Tim. It is hard to wrap my head around the suddenness and randomness which ended the life of a young man who was so loved and with so much potential.

I best remember Tim and Katherine when you came to our home on Sleepy Hollow many years ago. They were fashionably dressed in matching sailor outfits. I recall thinking how strikingly beautiful your children are. I will never forget how I delighted in meeting them.

In the days ahead, please know that you are in our hearts and grieve along with you. May you always be surrounded and sustained in the light and love of family and friends.

I thought Timothy's service was beautiful. How often we demand answers from God with no answers or we look to hang our anger on God, "if he loves us why would God allow such pain?" Timothy's priest spoke about the Kingdom of eternal life. He said we should observe natures moments of unexpected beauty or rarity and in that moment Tim will be present. The creator of life, Timothy's life, and the creator of the wind, light, ocean, flowers, none of which can be recreated by man. The power of these creations are something like that which makes up our eternal kingdom. Safe, beautiful and unlike the challenges we have on Earth. There is peace. And when the memories and pain fills our hearts, it's the rhythm of the waves, the motion of the sea which we are in tune with. It is the life we shared with Timothy that rides in as if a wave which fills our hearts and mind. But don't take it as a pain, feel his earthly presence that we feel his beauty and presence within us. Allow it to fill you up and then relax as It will leave. It will come and it will go. Again and again. Smile when he's with you. Say out loudly, "I love you Tim". We will all eventually join Timothy in eternal life. We're all going. When we get there he will be so excited, he will ask what took so long and then he will get started with showing us what we've been missing. Look for Timothy in his Heavenly life. Feel Timothy's Earthly life. He is all around us and we will forever love Timothy Glendinning.

Hi Tim its your dad, I just wanted to let you know we had a beautiful get together for you yesterday. As your father I didn't always get to see how you touched other people's lives, how you did what you did, and how they all reacted to you. Well, I couldn't of been more deeply touched (me, mom and Katherine) by the out pouring of love and smiles you still generated yesterday. You looked so beautiful and peaceful as you lied there, you have grown into beautiful man and all the photo's we had showed your smile and the spirit that everyone spoke about. Everyone loved you, and you will be missed beyond words. Your sister Katherine put your sunglasses and the favorite pin on you while you go on another one of your journeys. As your dad, there's a special love and affection I always hold in my heart and a smile you always put on my face like everyone else. Well my son, you rest easy and I look forward to sharing a smile with you once again. This morning me, mom and Katherine will see you one last time, but you will always, always be right there with us, and if you want to talk, we'll be listening. We all loved you, everyone yesterday (there were more than I could count), shared that love with me, and it was beautiful. Oh my little boy, I loved you so, and I do look forward to the day went we can another smile together...I would really like that...ok

Having been a neighbor on Hovey's Pond Dr, I remember Tim always outside, biking, boarding, building a tree house, asking my girls to go for a bike ride, always smiling and polite. It seemed to me that Tim, while on this earth really "lived" and had a positive impact on those who knew him. My heart breaks for you Tim, Barbara and Katherine. You have been and will continue to be in my prayers.
