I knew Mr. Fruge' from our scout troop. He was such a delight to have as a leader and always such a positive role model for the boys. I enjoyed the trip he arranged to tour the jail for our scouts-very informative. He was a good man and will surely be missed.

Mr. Fruge' worked as a guard for the Calcasieu Parish Library - Central Branch for many years. He was very alert to the surroundings and patrons knew that he was on parole. We felt safe and knew that he would handle "sticky" situations. He was very involved in his sons' life especially as a scout master and chief cook. We at Central Library miss him and send our prayers to the family.

To the relatives and friends of the Fruge Family,
We first met Mr. Jeff when he worked at the library. He was a wonderful friend and mentor to our son, W.Robert Tete II. Over the years our friendship has grown. Mr. Jeff was a wonderful father and friend. He was a great mentor to all of us. His Christian values were evident in all of the areas of his life. We will all miss him so much. Rest in peace sweet friend. May Jesus hold all of you close during these challenging times.
