DANIEL JOSEPH BOSKOVITCH

DANIEL J. BOSKOVITCH age 55. It is difficult, at best attempt to honor our father. It is never an easy task to capture someone in words, as words frequently fall short of capturing someone's true essence. In this instance, they fall so far below the mark that i feel it is almost futile to try. So instead, please take a moment a remember something good about Daniel Boskovitch that touched everyone of our lives. Over the past couple of days since his passing, my family are very grateful to our family and friends who have helped us over these days. We all acknowledge the great influence he left on our lives. Our father as many may know helped raise six intelligent children. Although he was many of our best friend, he was first our teacher. He taught us many values and morals, coincidentally all heavily influenced by the Catholic Church. He taught us how to be humble, cherish the tings we have, and to work hard. Our father very keen on working hard, spiritually and is the world. He wanted a 110% out of us whether it be in sorts, education (especially math), work and definitely a commitment to activities. Proverb 13:14 states, "A sluggards appetite is never fulled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied." Now we believe this is what he was trying to teach us, his children. As mentioned earlier, he wanted us to give our best in everything from school to our faith in order to lead the most satisfying and happy life we could. When ever one of us went to him for advice on various topics, from social to school, to spiritual dilemmas, he was always there to listen and give great support, just simply awesome advice. This is the only way to describe it. His life was surrounded by his faith. He was a very strongly committed Catholic man and he touched a lot of peoples hearts in his life with his wisdom, experiences, and through the help of the Catholic Church. Not only did he helped his family and relatives, but we have heard so many wonderful stories of how he had talked to many people in their time of need and helped them through it, giving them ideal advice based upon his experiences and Catholicism. He was wise and caring with such a great heart. Along with his fatherly hood and people he has affected along his journey, we would be re-missed not to mention our mom and her beloved husband. Our parents have a very faithful marriage. They stayed be each other through thick and thin, although they fought, they prevailed too. When two people are joined together in marriage, they vow to remain faithful through it all, both sickness and health. When his wife went through her own cancer treatments, he was right by her side through it all. Just how she stayed with him through his experience. They became closer through their cancer journey. They also experiences life's precious moments together, like climbing up 350 steps to a lighthouse in San Diego, hiking in Hocking Hills for 3 hours, deep sea fishing and kayaking through the pacific to see walruses and seals just to name a few. They shared a lot of adventurous experiences together but they also cherished the ones they made at home like taking bike rides around the neighborhood through all the seasons. They were there for each other and that's what it is all about/ Mom and dad are both Catholic and their faith is very important to both of them, which made raising kids a lot easier knowing you have the same values. His goal was to be the best husband he could be by being a husband by the Bible. he will be dearly missed by all.
