I had the distinct privilege of not only working for Maurice but also learning alot about the funeral industry and how to properly treat a family that has called upon us to serve. He was a friend, teacher and mentor. I will miss his smiling face and his caring personality. May the angels welcome him into the arms of our Lord and God. Pace Requicscat Maurice.

As a young pastor at First Baptist Church in Groom, Maurice Schooler taught me much about professionalism, genuine compassion, and friendship. May God comfort his family as he was a comfort to so many.
