My deepest sympathy goes to your family at this sad time. I have known Sue for over 20yrs and always looked forward to the summers when I would get to spend time talking to her. I can't imagine her not up at the lake this year. But I guess in some way she will always be up at the lake, for she will never be forgotten by those of us who knew her. I will truly miss her.

Dear Darbys,
Sue and I taught together at Washington M.S. She also taught all three of my children Science including her famous leaf collections. My fondest memory is of her wonderfull reaction to the "leaf" quilt we made her for retirement. Sue's good teaching and vibrant personality will live on through her students, colleagues, finds and family like ripples in the lake. My heartfelt condolences on your loss.

Dee[est sympathy to Ken and the family. Sue was a dynamo with a twinkle in her eye I always envied. She was a friends you could always count on. No matter how busy her schedule she always had time to listen and gave the best advise and comfort. Sue made any room she entered a brighter place. Her serenity, sense of humor, kindness, brought fun and energy to all who were privileged to call her friend. The world lwill be less bright without Sue's presence. However, I shall endeavor to continue to live by the invaluable life's lessons she taught me. God Bless you Sue, you will never be forgotten. God Bless the Darby family.

Well I am the third Miller girl with the same sentiments. Aunt Sue seemed like she could do anything for sure and I always admired that. She made my wedding dress too on very short notice and I know it took her away from Kelly Lake. I always felt a little bit special cause she asked my little 4 yr old self to be her flower girl. My memory of that day is vague but I remember that little green dress I got to wear. Rip Aunt Sue you will be missed.

I will second the comments from my sister, Sandy August. Aunt Sue was a remarkable woman. She really could do ANYTHING! I remember when she was pregnant with one of the boys and she was up on the roof putting on new shingles. I remember when she called Mom, frantic because Del and Edward got into green paint. I remember when she made Christmas cookies and sold them by the pound. I remember when she made my wedding dress and veil. Mostly I remember her smile. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Uncle Del, and all 5 "boys" and their families. I pray the Holy Spirit will comfort you in your grief. Love, Pat (Miller) List

It has been many years since I left the Aurora area but I will never forget how much Sue impressed me with all that she was capable of doing and how she was able to express her feelings, if it was a negative comment, then she was over it and if was a positive statement she had made your day. The early days in the church and church bowling team are fond memories also. My sincere condolences to Del and family.

Mr Darby,

I wish I could be there with you. I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Cub Scouts and Indian Guides. Thank you both for your warmth and caring. You and your wife have been a powerful positive force in my life and in the lives of my family and my parents. When I think of the times you and Sue showed love to our family, (Dad's 80th Birthday, Mom's 80th Birthday, The times you got them out of our house to play cards so we could stay up late to watch TV...) it makes me smile.

We send you our love, thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Mike, Didi, and Ian Galligar

Sandy Miller August.

It makes me so sad to think that Aunt Sue is no longer on this earth. I will always remember her as an amazing woman who could do anything she put her mind to from painting a wall mural, to building a fireplace, to raising 5 boys while completing her college degree and on and on and on. She is my example of strength and I will never forget her. RIP Aunt Sue.
