Mary was so kind to me when I lived in Texas. I was a newly married and very lonely; she just made me feel so welcome. I will always remember her kindness to me and the happy hours we spent together when she had young children and I had none at all. She was a lovely person and I always kept in touch with her, even though I left Texas more than thirty years ago and my life there is a long ago memory for me ...still, Mary will always be young, beautiful and that kind young women who opened her heart and her home to someone who dearly needed a friend.

Bob,
Bud and I are so terribly sad with the news of Mary Jane's passing. We have been friends for 57 years and there is such a void left for all of us that loved her. She was a wonderful person and a great friend and she will be missed.
We hope that you will have some comfort with all the wonderful memories that you shared with her.

Bob, we extend our deepest sympathy to you and to all of your family. Mary Jane was a beautiful person, inside and out, and was admired by everyone.

Thank you for your loving care and devotion to her all your lives together, and especially these last few years.

And thanks for giving her high school classmates a lasting reminder of the two of you - the wonderful OLV '62 Class Directory you so expertly put together. We appreciate the time and dedication you both gave to it....for having the idea and so successfully oompleting it.

We will always fondly remember Mary Jane, and will keep you in our prayers.
