So sorry Sharon for you and your boys. I met Mike not long after you were married, I could see how much love he had for you and Oliver after his birth. He was a great nurse and took special care of my Son Dave when he was in the hospital. Life is so complicated how could a person who had compassion for the sick die and suffer so much from cancer. I know he will be watching over you and the boys and in your hearts forever. If there is one thing is that you were the love of his life and his boys meant the world to him. You will be in my prayers in this trying time. oxoxo

It was an honor to work with Mike at the Elliot in the ED. Throughout his battle with cancer, he showed incredible strength and bravery. Every time that I was lucky enough to see him, he was sporting his wonderful smile! He will be missed!

Our hearts are heavy for Michael's family and friends at this saddest of times. Michael was and will always be a very special person to myself and my family. He had patience of a saint and a laugh that always made us comfortable to be around. My husband was a patient of his a few years back , he had an allergic reaction to one of the medications giving to him. I panicked and called my children up thinking the worse. Michael kept all of us calm as he laughed at me for being crazy. He got us through this with comfort and his crazy jokes. He will always hold a special place in my heart. You and your boys are blessed to have had him, even just for a short time. May you hold onto all the memories and talk about him often, he will never be to far away that he can't hear you. We wish you strength and comfort for the days to come. Love from my family to yours

I remember when you two started dating! Many years have passed since then and you have so many memories to cherish and keep in your heart. Even though you were as prepared as you could be for his passing, it still will come as a shock from time to time. Just remember the love you shared and the beautiful family you two created, and if you ever need to reach out (or need to get away and need somewhere to stay), I'm here. Stay strong and live your life to the fullest. You're a very brave and special lady❤
