Aldo Ghiozzi of Hillsborough passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. He was 75. Aldo was born in Codorso, Italy October 24, 1942. At the age of 12 he moved to the U.S. He met and married LouAnn Marsala and together built a successful landscape contracting business. Aldo enjoyed dances at PIASC, bowling, boating, wine tasting and spending time with children and grandchildren. He touched many lives during his lifetime and lived life to the fullest. Aldo is survived by his wife of 54 years, LouAnn Ghiozzi; daughter, Lisa M. Buckmaster (Dave) of San Carlos, grandchildren Brendan and Kayla Sanders; son, Michael A. Ghiozzi (Melanie) of Redwood City, grandchildren Marlena and Mark Ghiozzi; son Aldo A. Ghiozzi (Alexandra) of Brentwood, grandchildren Adriana and Sophia Ghiozzi; sister, Norma Costa (Bob) of San Mateo; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Silvio and Celestina Ghiozzi, So. SF and brother Renato Ghiozzi, Foster City. Viewing will begin 2pm Sunday, February 25, Crosby- N. Gray Funeral Home, 2 Park Rd., Burlingame followed by a Rosary, 6:00pm. Monday, February 26, Mass held at Our Lady of Angels, 1721 Hillside Dr., Burlingame, 10:00am. Interment to follow Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Mission Rd., Colma. Flowers welcomed or donations to: American Heart Assoc. or American Diabetes Assoc.
