Worcester - Justin D. Doherty, 43, died Friday, Jan 13th in UMASS Medical Center after a long battle with Cancer.
He leaves his wife, Cheryl A. (Principe) Doherty; his parents, Daniel and Marilyn (Grout) Doherty of Worcester, a sister, Lisa Preeg and her husband John of Florida; his mother and father in-law, Marianne Principe and Clifworth Facey of Maine; a brother-in-law, Michael Principe and his wife Cida of Waltham; a sister-in-law, Carol Schoener and her husband Gary of Maine; a nephew Michael and 3 nieces, Kaitlyn, Chelsea and Jessica; his former wife Deborah Ostrander of Worcester and a lifelong friend, Allan Starr of Wayland.
Mr. Doherty graduated from Doherty High School. He worked as a Property Manager for the John Star Realty Corp. for 15 years. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed motorcycles, bodybuilding and his dogs.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Research Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston 02215.

Please accept my condolences, I am so sorry to hear about your lose, I haven't seen Justin in a very long time but think of him often, he was such a special person, again I am so very sorry my heart and prayers go out to you all.

I was sad to hear of Justin's death. I remember what a beautiful child he was and how proud you were of him. I hope you at least have some wonderful memories.
