Windsor, CT-Victoria (Mardirosian) Hagopian, 98, passed away due to complications of dementia on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Kimberly Hall North in Windsor, Connecticut.
She was the widow of Jacob A. (Jack) Hagopian who died in 1988. She leaves her son, Jack and his wife, Carol of Ellington, CT; A grandson, Peter Hagopian and his wife, Elizabeth of Glenside, PA; a granddaughter, Victoria Worcester and her husband Brian of Lincoln, RI and a granddaughter Jessica Gallagher, and her husband Kevin of Southington, CT. She also leaves two great-grandsons, Owen Garner Hagopian and Jackson B. Worcester; three great-granddaughters, Charlee Sharon Worcester, Lucy A, and Mila B. Gallagher; three sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Lucille Konjoian, her three brothers, Larry, Mardy and Harry Mardirosian.
Vicki was born in Whitinsville, MA, the daughter of Nazar and Yougarper (Devegian) Mardirosian. She lived in Worcester for over 90 years and was educated in Worcester schools. She was employed by the Tatnuck Country Club and later at the Worcester Boys Trade High School until her retirement in 1972. Vicki was a life-long member of Holy Trinity Armenian Church and belonged to the Ladies Guild of the church. Vicki was a cancer survivor and was very proud of her volunteer work with the group known as "Reach for Recovery". She showed herself to be a loving and devoted wife, wonderful mother and grandmother, a loyal friend, and was loved by the people whose lives she touched. Vicki loved her family, her Armenian heritage, and her church. She also loved to cook, read, swim, vacation on Cape Cod, and dance, dance, and dance.
A Visiting Hour will be held Wednesday, October 29 from 10:00 to 11:00am in Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 635 Grove Street, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am in the church. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 635 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605. Arrangements are under the care of CALLAHAN~FAY AND CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester.

To Vicky's families,
Farewell to a great lady, a wonderful friend.
We had the pleasure of spending many years together ballroom dancing. The last dance with Vicky was at her 90th birthday celebration.
We have special memories of wonderful times with Vicky enjoying dancing and life.
