I will always remember your dad as the sweet, smiling, kind man he was! I'm sorry I can't be there to honor your dad and support your family. ( I can't travel that far yet! ) . Ryan wanted to bring me but I just can't make it. Always think of your dad having fun with the family and all the wonderful memories of good times you shared. That's what he would want! I like to think maybe he and Bill are having fun talking about trips to the beach at Nags Head with their families, God Bless you all with comfort, strength and peace at this difficult time. We all send our love, Marlene, Ryan and Tammy, Katy and Sean!

One of the first memories I have of Mr. McCarthy was when I was approximately 5 years old. I was walking my "babies" in a carriage up Denise Rd to see my best friend, (his daughter) Sue. Mr. McCarthy was up on a ladder painting the house. He came down from the ladder, walked over to me and said "hi Jo, who do we have here?" That was the kind of man he was, always taking the time to ask how you were. I knew from a very young age that he was very special. I grew to love him and his family. He was simply the best...the kindest man I know.
My prayers and heartfelt condolences to his family, xxoo I am so sorry for your loss.
Rest in peace Mr. McCarthy; you have earned your place in heaven 100 fold. ♡ love, Jo
