Robert M Kelley

ROBERT M. KELLEY, AKA "Kel" or "Bird", 66, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. He was born July 4, 1951 in Waltham, MA. He graduated from St. Mary's High School and from Bentley College in Waltham, MA. He was a cab driver for over 40 years in Boston and Cleveland. He spent a lot of his free time at Thistledown and Suffolk Downs race tracks, but Saratoga was his favorite to visit. Robert was an avid Boston and Cleveland sports fan, owning Celtics season tickets for many years. He watched Jeopardy every day, loved newspapers and books and collected endless amounts of both. He was a life-long list maker, enjoyed traveling, and vacationed every summer in Cape Cod with his family. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Winifred Bole Kelley; loving father of Elizabeth H. Kelley (fiancé Eddy M. Shayeb) of Lakewood, OH and William B. Kelley of Lakewood, OH; dear brother of Jane M. Kelley (partner Rick Rooney, also his best friend) of Wareham, MA, Barbara A. Malloy (Lawrence) of Waltham, MA, John A. Kelley (Gayle) of Medway, MA, Paul H. Kelley of Framingham, MA; brother-in-law of Mary Jo Bole of Columbus, OH and Carole Kelley (the late Mark) of Framingham, MA; son-in-law of Ruth S. Bole of Columbus, OH; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Arthur L. Kelley and Barbara E. (Hansen) Kelley, and brothers Mark R. Kelley and Kevin L. Kelley.
