Dear Lynn and Family, Both Sue and I are saddened upon hearing of Bob's passing. As Festival chairpersons at St. Sylvester Church, we could always count on you and your children to help us out with the annual event. We are sorry for you loss but rejoice in knowing that Bob touched so many lives and was so well respected by his friends and parishioners alike. May God grant him eternal rest. Amen.

To all members of Robert Berlin's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful friend and co-worker. He was such a kind, thoughtful, and helpful person. He was my son's sponsor when my son was sworn in as an attorney. And you all may remember when Bob took his family for vacations to my cottage in Caseville. He was truly an amazing person and a wonderful friend. He touched so many lives in a positive way!

Paula and I have been neighbors of Bob and Lynn for almost 35 years. When we first moved into the neighborhood we were in need of day care services and Bob and Lynn were the first people to reach out to us to tell us about a local daycare provider they suggested we contact. We very much appreciated that gesture and ended up using that daycare provider for many years. Bob was a great guy and he will be missed. We would like to express our sincere condolences to Bob, Lynn, their children and the rest of the Berlin family during this most difficult time.

My deepest condolences to Bob's beloved, Lynn, and all of his children and grandchildren.

His heart of Gold and loving nature as a father figure to me will never be forgotten. I was so blessed to receive a warm hug just a few weeks ago when I brought him some chocolate chip cookies for his birthday. Back when I was Bob's secretary, he often would give me a twenty on occasional Fridays and would say, go have some fun. Ever so short I worked for him, yet the Best superior a girl could ask for. 2 days ago I went on a nature walk and in the most unlikely place, a quarter was shining at me....coins are a sign from Heaven...and I felt his spirit as I picked up the coin and felt his peace. I laughed a little as the giving nature of him came through strongly.

His calm, his sincerity, his beautiful heart...One of a kind! All my Love to you, Lynn & family. Another Star above and Great guiding Spirit <3

Mr. Berlin I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy working with your daughter, Amy. I started on the air at WWJ in October of 2017 and had the pleasure of meeting her and have continued to admire her and her work. She's an incredible woman and I feel lucky to be working with her. Thought you should know you raised an incredible daughter.

Lynn - my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I will always treasure how Bob welcomed me into the office 30 years ago when I didn't know a single person. His integrity, sense of humor and most of all, his love for you, your children, and the grandkids was always a highlight of my day.

I was Bob's secretary in Appeals for 8 years. Even as a young adult I could tell that people went to him when they needed his expertise. He was kind, easy to talk to, someone you could count on and a genuinely good man. Bob helped me through some of the biggest accomplishments and struggles of my lifetime thus far. He was the best boss to work for. He was not only my boss but a friend. It has been some time since we both worked at the county but every now and then memories will pop up of jokes or conversations. I know he is in a better place but this is such devastating news that here on Earth we lost such a good soul.
