Donald L. Watson

Donald L. Watson, 78, of Anderson, passed away December 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born on March 7, 1941 in Anderson. Donald retired from the City of Anderson after 40 years as a supervisor for the water department. He, along with his wife are owners of Don & Sherry's Third Base Pub. Donald was a member of the NRA, American Legion, and the American Bowling Association. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, and golfing. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sherry (Wood) Watson; children, special son, Jay (Amber) Watson, Donnie (Sandra) Watson Jr., Jason (Dee) Cain, David (Gina) King, Kristy (Mark) McClain, Cammie (Jimmy) Cook, Trina Watson, Koni (Paul) Cruz, Susan (Darren) Daniels, adopted son, Stephen Watson; sisters, Connie (Jack) Judy, Kay (George) Clark ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; special mother in-law, Virginia Wood; special nieces, Brenda Lawrence, Sandra Tombs; sister in-law, Kathy King, brother in-laws, Ron (Diane) Wood, Dwight Wood Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Watson; daughter, Kathy Watson; two grandsons, Keith Stoffers, Geovanni Cruz; grandparents, John and Marie Watson and father in-law, Dwight Wood Sr. Services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with entombment at East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
