David A. Dickey passed away on February 12, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born March 6, 1930 in New Castle, Indiana to Claude and Luella Dickey. Dave lived in Bartholomew County during his youth but spent the large majority of his life in Madison County, moving to Middletown in 2017. He worked for General Motors, first with Allison in Indianapolis and then Delco-Remy in Anderson where he retired. Before he came to work at General Motors he was a well-known car salesman in Anderson. He is survived by his loving daughter Tina Robbins (Walt) of Middletown, special niece Mary Kathryn Titus (Gerald) of Greenfield and special nephew Rod Craig (Shardell) of Robertsdale, Alabama and Special Friend Carolyn Dickey of Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Dave will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The furry ones that were such a comfort to him will miss his company and love. At Dave's request, there will be no viewing or service and cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to The Animal Protection League, 613 Dewey St., Anderson, IN 46016. Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064.
