Love and miss you, Nan. Think about you often and the qualities you’ve instilled in us grandchildren remain strong as ever. I’m sorry for eating chicken sticks whole - something I still do til this day. It’s so hard to take small bites of those things, dare I say impossible. Yes, people, I still eat baby food. All five of us do actually, and we have our Nan to thank for it! Love ya Nan!

Dear Aunt Joan, I have some very special memories. Remembering how I stayed with you when Jen was born and when the time came for me to go home, I didn't want to leave and I stayed longer. We had so much fun at your house. You were always so thoughtful and caring towards everyone. Jeff and I were lucky enough to stop by one day a few years ago and actually got in to see you! It was great. You are a wonderful lady and aunt. We love you.

It is comforting to know Aunt Joan you are in the loving hands of Our Lord Jesus. I have so many great memories of times spent at family gatherings, especially the yearly 4th of July BBQs at Uncle Tom's and Aunt Sally's. Memories of spending many weeks at your home, spending time with my favorite cousin Jeff. You would always take awesome care of me when I was there at your home. I remember mostly during the evening when I was over there you would make this very loud sound ..like trying to clear out or itch your throat... That sound would startle me and I got to admit I was afraid as I did not know what it was or where it was coming from, But when I knew it was you I was no longer afraid. Most of all you were there and comforted me a lot when my mother passed. Your voice was very comforting to me at that tough time. You are now together with your husband Uncle Curly and that as well is a very happy thought. Aunt Joan I love you.

My dearest Sister,so kind, thoughtful and loving. You are now happy and pain free with Our Lord. I have so many wonderful memories of you, too many to write here. You are the best sister anyone could have. I'll miss you so so much. I have many QVC gifts you sent me but the one I'll cherish the most is the sister pin. I'll keep it always. Steve and Jeff and all their families are remarkable people. You had the best of care and love from all of them. What's more to say, except, you are The Greatest!!!!!!!!!
