THEIR FRIENDSHIP GREW AS JOHN HAD AN IRISH SHOP IN ROCKAWAY, AND CEIL AND NANCY MCDONALD HAD THEIR IRISH SHOPS IN MIDDLETOWN, NY, AND GREENWICH, CT. I ATTENDED ST. You left an imprint and an impact where ever you went or whoever you met. You were always full of optimism and there was nothing and no-one who should stand in your way if you had a vision. John McGillion was a true friend. I value the times I spent with him, remember many things he said, and learned from him. I can only imagine those closer to him must be be feeling an overwhelming void. It is with respect and sadness that my condolences are sent, but true appreciation for the man abounds. That is a fitting legacy and hopefully eases the pain of his passing.
