Omar Tovar, 39, July 29, 2020, longtime resident of the West Side of Chicago-Pilsen neighborhood, recently of Cicero, IL; loving husband of Veronica Tovar; cherished father of Stephanie, Omar Jr., Dalila and Genesis; beloved son of Salvador Salto and Maria C. Tovar Salto; devoted big brother to Nancy Sullivan with whom he grew up; also brother to Miguel, Irma, Silva, Sergio, Juan, and Fernando. Omar was a fun-loving uncle and friend to many. Omar enjoyed listening to "old school" music and a big fan of the White Sox's. One of his favorite foods with Philly Cheese Steak with a close second being Seafood and BBQ delights. Above all, Omar was a family man and was passionate about mechanic work. He loved his family beyond words. Nothing made him prouder than watching his children grow and their accomplishments.
