Don attended Post Elementary, Southeastern Junior High and was a 1953 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. Don began his career with the Kellogg Company even before completing high school. In 1990, after 37 years, he retired as a machinist in the skilled trades. While attending youth fellowship at the First Congregational Church, Don met the girl he was destined to marry. Donald Herbert Farrington married Patricia Esther Beamish in the Miller Chapel at the First Congregational Church on June 13, 1954. He loved coaching Pennfield Recreational and City League (Village Inn) youth baseball teams. He always had time to stop and chat. Good friend and fun to talk with him.
I would always look for him at many different places. Pennfield church,
Arby's in Marshall at lunch time. Any place we would run into each other.
Always had a store that was fun to listen to. After we moved I didn't see him much. I will miss him. Neal

Roger and I send prayers to Pat and family. We fondly remember our times together at family camp and other activities when we were all members of First Congregational Church. We enjoyed our times together and have often talked about these events. Don will be missed by many, because he gave so much of himself with such joy.
