Joshua Hamrick Obituary

Joshua Nathaniel Hamrick, 39, of Sterling, died on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his home. Josh was born on January 13, 1982 in Elburn, IL the son of Freddie Hamrick, Jr. and Kimberly Slaughter. He was an excellent handyman and loved working on cars. Survivors include his son, Aidan Buckingham of Morton, IL; one sister, Coreana Maurer of Fresno, CA; and three brothers, Nick Hamrick of DePue, IL, Aaron Hamrick of Medota, IL, and Jason Slaughter of Eugene, OR. Josh was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life with be held at a later date.

Sorry to hear about Josh. He worked around our new construction when we first were in Dixon. His wife than Laura was a caregiver for our family. His son was small than and also came by us. We hope he can finally RIP.
